That's very odd! I'm using the same old Postimages hoster that I've been using for ages. Tried the usual refresh browser cache? Or CMD "ipconfig /flushdns"?

It's Great Barrier (NZGB). There's a freeware addon for it that adds a few details, but I think an old FSX addon was much better. I flew into NZGB many years ago, on my first ever visit to NZ.

Thanks for annswer. Are you referring the old FSX addon offering better quality to the famous developer Laurie (forgot his name but he is famous for all many freeware NZ airport sceneries)??

Yes - I think it was Laurie Roache for the FSX version.

For MSFS, there was one by str1kestudio, but this one by Coolguns is amazing!

You could try Googling that, but I very much doubt it. When I flew in there, 25yrs ago, I think it was still just a grass strip [not sure] - and I don't think long enough for a DC-3.

Here's what I found:

"The sealed (asphalt) runway at Great Barrier Aerodrome (Claris) was opened on 22 April 1996. The airfield itself was originally constructed by the Public Works Department in 1938 as a grass landing ground, and served as an RNZAF station during WWII (used by No. 1 Squadron's Vickers Vincents). It wasn't until the mid-1990s that the runway was sealed, and a new terminal building followed in December 2010."

Barrier Air (and its predecessor Great Barrier Airlines) operated a surprisingly diverse fleet over its 40+ years of service before standardising on the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan.

The Britten-Norman Islander was the longest-serving type, flying from 1984 until its retirement in April 2018 — the last flight was ZK-FVD.
The Piper PA-32 Cherokee Six was the first major type retired (2012), followed by the Britten-Norman Trislander (2014), Piper PA-31 Navajo (2016), and Partenavia P.68 (2017).
Several of the single-engine types (Cessna 172, 206, DHA-3) were part of the original 1983 founding fleet.

Island Aviation now have those Islanders, which go all round the Hauraki Gulf including both GB airfields.
Just 30 minutes out of NZNE, GBI is fast becoming the New Waiheke.

Thanks for great great great explanations on operations of the NZGB airport especially the well detailed list of specific aircraft types that operated to this specific airport. That list should be big help and motivation to any NZFF forum member and any NZFF forum lurker who want to recreate realistic historic flights to that airport. Too bad I cannot use DC-3 for that airport.
