Talking about olden Times...and the year "2006".... Anyone remember the flight sim forum; "Simviation"... started by Pete Daly ? I jonined it in 2006, and have been a Member there ever since, popping in every day! It was the Lads in Simviation that dragged me kicking anf screaming into FSNZ in 2010, when a tour of the Australia and New Zealand Coast was organized, and took place, in Multiplayer... on line! The one thing that has always got me permanantlty attached to FSNZ is the "Chat" forum, where i can have fun with evey day! ...and dont forget the Motorcycle...

Time for some new candidates (please)! Otherwise the stand-in by yours truly gets used ... and we don't want that, do we?

I've found that I can persuade Google Drive to display a pic ... but it's a little complicated. You have to view the image then use Firefox (or similar) and get the image URL by viewing the page info. You get a URL that looks a bit like this: ... to which you then add the img tags/pair. [img] Adam.

By the way, thanks for fixing the image-sizing prob, with images being cut off on smaller screens. Now they resize to fit, which is so much better! Oh brilliant!

I find its annoying when my family E-Mail me photos which they have taken directly from their Digital/Tablet/Phone camera, which are Mega-Bytes in size! They take ages to download, and take up mega space in my In Box! They just need to be "resized" (small), suitable for E-Mail! Paul....Me?...Size: 5'-7"...and shrinking.... ;) ...!

Beautiful view!!! My favorite engines are GE90 engines and ANY Rolls Royce engines especially with Rolls Royce logos on sides of engines for L1011s, 747s, and BAC1-11s as well as 757s. Regards, Aharon

Thanks gents, CP yes one can easily extend Silvester Stallone's script into the sim :D I did for the HU-16 on purpose, as that gave it the nosebubble which the real aircraft had as well. Mmm JK the bubble is actually painted over in white on the Chalk's plane. Wonder if one could transplant the interior from the G-111?

The zebra livery was actually inspired by the famous Dornier Do 27 used by Bernhard and Michael Grzimek during their wildlife surveys over the Serengeti in the late 1950s. They used the striped paint scheme to avoid frightening the animals too much during aerial counting flights. Sadly, Michael Grzimek was killed in 1959 during one of those survey flights. Ever since, that zebra pattern has become almost iconic for African bush flying. So somehow this little aircraft felt perfectly at home around Maun and the Okavango Delta. :)

I caved and dropped NZD14 on this one on the strength of the FS20 repaints, the Chalk one in particular. (thanks JK) You're welcome, glad you enjoy them. Nice pic too, two of my favorite aircraft!
