Yes it was. There were different types for different wing mounted armaments. Whereas the Hurricane went from fabric covered wings, commonly referred to as "rag wings" to metal.

Adamski, Thanks for great great great explanations on operations of the NZGB airport especially the well detailed list of specific aircraft types that operated to this specific airport. That list should be big help and motivation to any NZFF forum member and any NZFF forum lurker who want to recreate realistic historic flights to that airport. Too bad I cannot use DC-3 for that airport. Regards, Aharon

Very nice set, Marty. The Hellcats get my vote. The two in the three colours scheme look particularly stunning, the overall Gloss Sea Blue just looks plane, sorry plain :D The Corsairs look good as well... especially the last one.

Good show, I lost the previous one in one of many updates. Nice to have a new download resource too, your file came down in under 3 sec! The mp4 file gets overwritten with every MSFS update, so I usually keep a duplicate/backup in the same VIDEOS folder. I'm getting into this intro video thang now. I may create a civil/GA-only version then a military one (the current one is a bit of a mixture). All will be NZ based, though, as that's the only place I "fly" these days! Let me know if it plays/formats correctly on your system. Some of the others I've downloaded from fs.to either get...

I think you're probably right Marty. It just looked a bit odd to me, not sure why.
