Jankees repaints

Postby Adamski » Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:10 am

This month's banner features another superb livery from Jankees. How on earth he rolls out these repaints so quickly defeats me. It's a painstaking process - and often frustrating.

So ... once again .. a HUGE thank you for your massive contribution to our simming enjoyment :groupwave:

Yeah fantastic pic and amazing artist. As you say so prolific, and so generous. Thanks for everything you do JK !!

Others would have tried to charge money for these back in the day they're so good. Have you ever thought about a donations sorta thing?

I feel honored!
Surprised though you didn't use a shot with my kiwi paint for the Catalina (although I do like your choice of screenshot).

As for my speed, after about 2500 repaints I do have a bit more experience than most I guess?

As for donations, you can do that via fs.2

Could you (please) do me a favour and repost some screenshots of it here? I can always rotate the banner half way through December ;)

I'll just echo the comments above...

I didn't know one had been released! I thought it might have been in the pipeline?
Any case there's nothing in the rules that prohibits 2 Catalinas in successive months

I just posted them in another thread, twice actually. You can delete one of them...

Shalom Jankees.

Happy 2,500th repaint milestone!!! I agree with Adamski's original post. I have many of your repaints in my FSX that I downloaded from some famous flight sim website whose name has escaped my memory but I remember that the name of the website was something like OZ that closed its doors.

I think it was AussieX ... or OzX ... great site while it lasted!

OZx indeed! Too bad it was hacked and destroyed.
But all my FSX/P3D paints are still available on avsim and sim-outhouse if you still want them

Adamski and Jankees,

Both of you are correct about OZX. That now defunct website introduced me to WONDERFUL repaints of Jankees!!!
Without OXZ website, I would not have known about his great repaints.
