AFS4 in Florida

Thanks to Krzysztof we now have this pretty Quadcity Challenger. If you head West from Key West you get to the Dry Tortugas, which ironically enuff is the only place in AFS4 with a patch of active water, and there are Manatees swimming around. There are many fine scenery objects to be seen, but if you switch to the amphibian QC to join the manatees you will find yourself swimming. Strangely, you can still make a takeoff run and it will transition to the non-active water without crashing, but not the other way round.

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

:hesaid: and a nice paint job on the eagle, too.
If I recall, the Keys had Water in AFS2 as well, but I guess there's a lot of labour involved as it never appeared anywhere else?

Charl, your memory is spot on. I have noticed over the years that AFS updates seem to include things on a small scale in the main cfg file. that will be handy later on - moon phases for instance. Not really relevant right now, but essential for future global active water with real tides etc. Needed for real weather and and sensible ATC, which will use the correct runway based on wind.
