Wilga – A short hop from Rügen to Barth (with a proper breakfast, of course)

Before flying, one has to eat properly – especially when operating a Wilga.
So here it is: my East–West Snack with EU support — original East-German bread roll, Bavarian Leberkäse, Danish butter and, naturally, Bautz’ner mustard … accompanied by a sugar-free Paulaner Spezi.
Fuel for both pilot and machine!



After that hearty start, I departed Rügen (EDCG) for a short 26-minute leg to Barth (EDBH).
Looked easy at first – scattered clouds, good visibility – but as soon as I left the island the weather changed fast.
Visibility dropped close to VFR minima, and I just made it into Barth before the sky closed completely.

A reminder that even the shortest flights deserve respect for the weather gods.

Yes, the top image was generated with AI — I use DALL·E 3 mainly for small illustrative touches, not to replace actual sim shots.
The others are straight from MSFS 2020.
