Consolidated B-24 Liberator

Postby jankees » Thu Sep 11, 2025 9:55 pm

Similar to the DC-4, the B-24 was also converted to native MSFS20 from P3D/FSX and with permission from Flight Replicas, made available. Again, not perfect (not everything is clickable in the cockpit for instance), but workable, and it looks real good I think.
I updated most of my old textures, ad made some new ones, all available on fs.2 as well

Here's a few of them:

Prolific and fantastic collection...
I should know this but can't recall: who flies the dark blue roundel with light blue inner?

Such a lengthy and varied operational history, covering all of WWII: Cargo plane, Sub Hunter, Bomber.
And one I'd never heard of (thanks Wiki): stripped-out Black Ops "Carpetbaggers" painted black and flying at night which retrieved over 5,000 crewmen who had escaped capture after being shot down over Europe.

A captured aircraft was also painted and used by the German Air Force to supply the troops left behind in Crete by KG 200
