The price was right

Postby Splitpin » Thu May 08, 2025 5:48 pm

Found this by chance on .TO
Its a port over from FSX (but native MSFS) Not much is clickable in the cockpit, but that was the deal with Milviz when they offered it for free.
This and a J version have heaps of paints (free as well)
The cockpit shots are raw, couldn't be bothered cropping.

The Double Ugly, the Rhino, the Phabulous Phantom, the Spook... I love all those shots.
GA is for George Air Base....where Luftwaffe crews trained.
Great shots.

All the way back to FS9, the plane models were ahead of the sim.
SO they could survive the transplant to the younger editions with impunity.
With MSFS I'm not sure that still holds true.
In any case I do tend to stick with payware natives and am generally not disappointed.

Having said that, you do make a nice picture, Marty B-)

" The triumph of thrust over aerodynamics" also applies

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

It amazes me that the pilots were able to work those panels with gloved hands.
