7001

I have been trying for days to replicate that wonderful last landing....not easy, given the constraints with my faulty joystick and odd scenery at low level.
However, having learned the art of "slewing" on this platform, I'm able to offer a rough simulated rendition...I would love to have been able to take it right down to the final shut down.....but, lack of brakes meant I destroyed a good part of Wigram :ph43r:

And that great bounce and go prior to the above shots

Thanks for looking chaps ....will do better next time.
It was hard work to set up, the departure point was always closer than I set , and way too high. The slew up and down is the same as FSX...Y key and F1 and F4 , which helped a bit.
I was always too low and slow or high and fast, the landing gear would retract uncommand , trim would keep pitching up even with the stick fully forward.
On one attempt the throttle axis reversed :ph43r: definitely a gremlin lurking in there somewhere.
The final "landing" was a bit long, I could have stopped, but the brakes didn't work.....ahhhhh.

Heck mate, with those shots it's like being there on the day
Once again, a series of shots where, if you use your imagination, you can hear the Old Girl....and smell that particular smell that only Herks have.
