PAC your bags

Postby Charl » Wed Oct 09, 2024 7:56 pm

Over the weekend I tinkered with some effects that come with Airshow Assistant – something of a Swiss Army knife for MSFS.
You get formation flying, aerial refuelling, and visual effects like smoke, flares – and water vapour, which you can customise.

I previously took a Cresco to Bridgeview airstrip, a great little farm/bush scenery, just perfect for a top dresser to fly in and out of.
I went back there, to get in the groove again, but this time armed with some passable effects, curiously left out by ORBX.

Watch on youtube.com

Not quite there yet, but nice to be able to get close to a fix.

The screens of the outing:
Halfway back to Nelson, there’s Malibu airstrip, from Kiwiflightsim.
Ideal for a tank of gas and a lemonade.
When the day is done, you take off to the north and follow the road.
When the road runs out, just keep going like a rifle shot, and it puts you onto NZNS Rwy 02L.

Great post Charl. There is something "right" about the look of the PAC-750.....you show it well.

Thank you Marty... Paul I was also waiting for some tweaks, most notably the fert spreader effect.
Anyway, #8 wire and all.

I suspect it may surface again in MSFS 2024 with the necessary bells+whisles.

Well I went back and spent a bit of time with the other variants.
Once you've figured out it has a tablet, you can open the doors etc and it ain't too bad!
