Some people may find this interesting as a lot of technology is going to improve aircraft safety and performance. Some of this technology is being tested in other Countries.
Finding ways to remove turbulence from flight, and a way has been found that makes it significantly less.
1/ HIGHLY ACCURATE NAVIGATION SYSTEM with AUTO-PILOT.
This is more accurate than GPS and gives the aircraft a more precise Altimeter, Airspeed indicator, AoA indicator and aircraft location. There is a AEROSPACE version called SYSTEM WIDE NAVIGATION SYSTEM. For turbulence there is a dampener in the FLY BY WIRE that compensates for wind and pressure. It is always pressure that makes aircraft move up or down, it is possible to track wind particle movement and get a more precise compensation for turbulence. With this accuracy aircraft can inflight refuel automatically and that includes the drogue system for refuelling. Aircraft can also land on ships that are moving automatically including helicopters.
2/ Pilots Helmet.
The Helmet is for each individual and has a HELMET MOUNTED DISPLAY. The radio is inside the Helmet and it does not require batteries to recharge. The new radios use SATELLITE MICROWAVE BROADBAND INTERNET and can talk to the Tower or other aircraft anywhere in the entire Universe live! The batteries self charge and last for Trillions of years or more. The Helmet display has NIGHT VISION including Enhanced Imagery and it has an mapping overlay. Pilots would have a far better situational awareness than ever before. It also can see all aircraft in the sky that have flight plans or not.
3/ SATELLITE MICROWAVE BROADBAND INTERNET COMMUNICATIONS.
This radio works above ground, underground, underwater, in space and anywhere. It uses better technology than what is available today and links to Satellites. The Satellites are the same ones that GPS is emitted from. Each one orbits Earth and there are others in orbit throughout the entire Universe. They are linked together through a WORMHOLE DOOR MATRIX and so can communicate live throughout the Universe. This unit is inside the Helmet and if a pilot were separated from their aircraft after a crash they could still talk to the Tower anywhere worldwide.(even if you were on the moon! And there is no lag)
So there is some technology for people to think about although it will take a few years before it is available here in New Zealand.
