I did some time as a Sys Admin /Help Person. Lost count of the number of times I was asked "Which one is the 'any' key?"

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

I'm sorry but (rant coming up) what the hell were the developers thinking when they developed this new sim??

Sure the scenery is amazing but the aerodynamics of all the aircraft is completely screwed and unrealistic

Was trying to land the a320 after the latest update and in finals suddenly had a wing dip as usual used my yoke to right it, no input until the wing hits the ground

Finally on the ground I select reverse thrust and in 2 seconds the aircraft is going backwards, I'm like sure seeing is this happens what will happen if I pull the yoke back

Next minute the aircraft is taking off backwards and starts spinning horizontally at about 50 feet

Back to p3d for me for the time being

Sorry rant over but this new sim is frustrating and just a game at this point

There does seem to be the same lack of joined-up thinking that made such a nonsense of FSX, all those years ago

Plenty of hate mail about that little "feature"! I found that it will accept a keypress once you give the main window focus with ... you guessed it ... a mouseclick!

It's a shame the installation/update process is designed to be as aggravating as possible because once I'm actually in the sim it's truly awesome, I have never had as many "oh wow" moments in a game as I've had in this.

I agree. I've also bought/installed a few games via Steam and had no trouble at all. I've no idea whether you'd *also* need to log in via the MS Store.

I bought via Steam after miserably failing with the MS Store installation. I applied for a refund for the MS Store version which was finally granted.

Installation via Steam was a breeze. It doesn't rely on the MS Store in any way but you need (or have to create) an X-Box account to login to during installation (which I already had as I was an alpha tester).

Kind regards, Michael

It's the one nearest where your thumb is at the moment.
Oh? I'm sorry, didn't realise...

Good to read all these experiences.
I'm a Steamer, and although it irritates by forever phoning home, the content has always delivered flawlessly.
Won't hurt to stay with it, then.
