Cheers, Bruce. I have noticed recently that Edge says 'Not secure' in the address bar, due to the lack of a SSL certificate. I think that Google is doing something similar, and I guess that SSL will become the minimum as far as security is concerned.

The only way to cure the pesky "Norton" problem is to "try" and completely uninstall it, and all its files!
I had to format my hard drive to get rid of it completely many, many years ago.
...and they had the audacity to request money to be able to use it!... ...!
The most annoying program to ever be installed on a computer.... ...!

There are lots of excellent freeware anti-virus programs out there...AVG, etc... ...!
