The new addition to my hangar, the Aerosoft AN-2. I'm heading to Warsaw tomorrow, maybe I can spot a real one

No wonder people are set against intensive irrigation...

Charl ... it's really sad, that whole beautiful area will be covered in bloody cows soon ....so the scenery guys will be busy with updates
I may be a little bias, being a southern man, but that area of the south island is special and has many memories ....and its being ruined.

I've seen it at -10c at midday after days of freezing fog, and so hot that a/c can't keep up ....perfectly clear, and in total blizzard conditions.
I've seen waterspouts racing over Lake Pukaki in severe nor west weather ....even had the front of a 50 seat tour coach lift off the road in the same conditions, and all the roof vents blow off with the pressure change..... that was scary

None of which will change with the invasion of the cow ....but, dealing with those conditions in that vast ...dry...treeless area, seems to be somehow more acceptable without them.

I know the whole area won't (I hope) succumb to the "udder ones" ....but even one big green circle anywhere down there is one too many.

Just my thoughts, sorry to deflect the thread.

Damn, gives me even more reasons to visit NZ in the not so distant future! Hopefully 2020 is the year, as I will probably attend a wedding in Australia. So then I'm in the "neighborhood"

Landing Gear is going to need to be fixed....back on.....pilot doesn't look too thrilled about having to thumb for a ride back to Nellis!

It's a good example of why the shot needed to be resized (up) to 1280px. At its original size, it didn't look half as dramatic - and those reflections weren't so obvious. It's certainly a very unusual shot!

I have tried but can't work it out.....................all i get is a thumbnail image from postimage despite following the instructions in the screenshot forum and flicker resizes it
