When I was generating a lot of screenshots I used Imageshack which is #1 on your list.
I couldn't be bothered with the upkeep costs at the moment as I have momentarily lost interest, but the shot above was uploaded to Imgur (free!) and not much wrong with it. It would be a good temporary alternative.

Thanks, Marty! I couldn't get at the original properly (via Photobucket) - all I could get was a 1024px version - which I scaled up to 1280px and uploaded to NZFF.

Bob - if you have a 1280px (or larger) version - could you email it to me direct and I'll replace the one above <?>.

I tried a series of tests with Imgur (and Googled around a fair bit). Even if you have "full quality" set in your upload options, all the images are compressed to 90%. This doesn't sound like much but, for screencomp purposes, I'd say that was unacceptable (IMHO).

The comp is now closed - and voting is now open!

It's been a bit of a problematical month - with all the image hosting troubles - but that shouldn't stop people VOTING for the entries that did manage to get posted (!).

Thank you to everyone that submitted.
