Welcome aboard, Joe :)
I use PostImage for my screenies. I take them by pressing V in the usual way, which creates a full-screen bmp file. I use IrfanView to resize/resample that to a 1280 wide jpg and save that. Otherwise I will get growled at by Adam.
:(
When I upload to PostImage, I tell it not to resize my pic, and copy the Direct Link code into my NZFF Forum post. You need to wrap that in [img]and[/img] tags. If you click 'Reply with Quote' on one of my screenie posts, you can see what the code looks like.

Yes - a BIG welcome from me as well! I always think the detail and lighting in DCS is amazing ... and you get to shoot at stuff as well!

Sorry I haven't posted before, it's often a struggle to find/shoot something that fits the comp. This shot is of A2As T-6 in the VH-TXN paint scheme that seemed to fit reasonably well with the somewhat barren landscape around Godzone NZDN!

Wow! Some amazing shots filling out the entries nicely! Looks like I may have to "up my game" and maybe re-submit!!!

A HUGE welcome to all our first posters - so great to see new faces appear with their shots!

Splitpin,

That is PERFECT mountain that I have been looking for long time for my FSX. Cannot find perfect mountains for Swiss Alps or Canadian Rockies or Mount Cook or so on!

Ahron, perfect as such is ORBX Norway... and it is correct, because A-10 stationed in the UK have often trained with NATO-Forces in winter over Norway... amd they have this paint-scheme...

Ok , Im convinced Im a Jinx ...I post a screen in the comp ...and it stops....prove me wrong.
Come on guys ...5 days to go , and the theme isn't that hard (Camo).... think outside the box... or inside , whatever you like.
Forget about past winners ...use a strategic vote ... if you see a consistent winner , dont vote for it ( him /her) unless you want to.

Please dont give up because you feel its an old boys club ....its not.
Make a screen , post it .

We really run the risk of losing this comp if numbers dont pick up ....the members who run it also have other things to do , they dont wait around for a month waiting for us to do our stuff.

Post , post , post , and if you cant, at least cast a vote.
Over to you .

I don't get it ... a really good theme and some simply stunning entries (it's going to be hard to vote!) ... then it all goes dead.

I know for me, not having P3D, AFS2 or DCS to fly or any of the environment add on's or a decent enough system to run them all I cannot compete with Split, yourself and the high end flyers, so its not worth the time and effort to even try as i can genuinely count the number of votes ever received on a single hand without using a thumb.

Well done on the theme win, Frank!!! Communications for this month are a little "all over the place" because of the tie-breaker etc. ... but congratulations!

BTW - are you the Frank from Flusinews? It's a great site ... always lots of up-to-date news ... and I can brush up on my German!!!
