It is amazing country in how close you have to travel to get to feel that sensation out off Christchurch for example the CHCH port hills before suddenly you can experience such cloud affect, thing is no Nav Training Flights thru the area as much is stocked and public tracks. Add another hour due West and that changes.

I thought I might have made some error here. You see when it comes to screen sizes ,well I thought I just had to set the screen res of the sim to 1280 x whatever it was and I would be ok. Clearly I have missed some vital step a long the way. In paint the width size is 1280 so it must be when I tried to resize it. Maybe I should have just left it at the original. I had better read the thread on posting images properly this time

Dinga - are you able to re-edit that image, then replace it (by editing your original post)?

You're a little restricted in editing if you're using MSPaint - and its jpeg compression is horribly crude. You may want to try finding a free version of PaintShopPro or try GIMP. It's still also possible that Flickr made a mess of it all for you when you uploaded your image. I'd strongly suggest you use Ozx: www.fsfiles.org. It's much easier all round - and doesn't "mess" with your pics.

Adam.

EDIT: I've just posted some tips for DCS users here.
Looks like you resized it fine - many thanks!!!

Roelio wrote:Thanks Adam! I'm actually moving up and down from The Netherlands and Poland (Łódź) all the time. Poland is your home country right? Anyways, I do my flighttraining and classes there and sometimes I just go there to study since I have so many distractions at home  Nothing better than some good Pierogi and Piwo

I've heard from a few people that flight training in Poland is relatively cheap. Better lay off those pierogi or your C172 will be struggling!

I was born in the UK - my parents being WWII refugees, coming to the UK via Siberia, along with 1,000s of others. Language, customs and culture were preserved as much as possible by fairly tight Polish communities all over the UK. This is way before the much more recent (pre-Brexit) of more "modern" Poles! So ... I'm a curious mixture of Polish genes & upbringing, English education - and now living in New Zealand! But I digress :D ...

Here's one: my sim doesn't actually qualify (it's FS2... starting over)
Bucolic? Yes!
Nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing the meadows from 50,000ft with a couple of red-hot cans behind me, pushing Mach=1.
I am about to go inverted for the full panorama :)

Changed to a more appropriate shot, fleeing the city for rural tranquility. In a somewhat hot biplane...

Just spent the weekend 'chillin' down in Murchison, doing a bit of gold dredging. Just warming up the Pratt & Whitney - and almost off home, to Nelson Lakes.
