US NAVY a cap with CVN-65

Postby Ian Warren » Tue Jun 28, 2016 3:11 pm

Well this is a goody, I walked into the shops few minutes back, with my Marty's given cap on my head 'USS ENTERPRISE CVN-65' .. I got a "Hey Yo Man" from, must have been an ex-sailor or US Navy with the accent, we do meet many of these people in the streets in Christchurch, I'm sure it was only the cap, friggen brilliant thing .. I started my "JIBBER JIBBER" :) Next answer was , sure you weren't in the US Navy ... that was Cool B-) .. worst! I did not get the guy's name, was he's in the US Navy .. I'd say yes .. Id again say us boys know what we talk about .... that is so B-)

The old hat collection is growing ... Ive found a place in the states that makes and sells visor caps ( officer type) for the US forces.
Im amazed they sell to joe public being one of the official providers ... so far i have 7 from them , will take a pic in the weekend and show you.

The latest to arrive (as well as the the Russian one) was a USMC white top parade cover with braid ... beautiful hat .
Thanks to Doug , and his info on" NZ POST YOU SHOP" Im saving heaps on postage by having my own US postal address in Portland .

I think the best thing is people 'asking', total strangers .. outta the blue and really get a shock when they find out what is under that 'CAP' what is in the Brain Case, all because of a Cap and a specific logo or badge, I love the credit with the knowledge that it comes with it ..... again all because of a CAP! B-)
