Thanks for the welcome All.

It sure did. It didn't actually meet our SLA that we had with Air-works and we had to reduce the load from 120pax it was supposed to do down to 99 so we could carry enough fuel.
(apparently anyway this was the jist of my understanding, I run the IT department so I only heard the complaints).

Welcome neofitou. "I run the IT department so I only heard the complaints"

Problems huh.....Did you try turning it off and turning it on again??? LOL

Thought I may as well do an introduction too then! My names Tom, and I'm 17 y/o. Originally I signed up here to try and find somebody to do a repaint for me (which I did), to support my Flight Sim Overuse Syndrome. In my spare time, I'm either doing something with cadets, working at Macca's, flying on FSX, or flying in real life. I love flying the smaller aircraft as I find they have more 'character', but I do love getting in the PMDG 777 occasionally, and ripping up the sky. Hopefully I'll be sticking around, so it's nice to meet all of you!

Hi All,

I have been watching the NZFF forum for a bit, and decided to jump in. Started FS back in the "old days", and upgraded to FS2000 for a while before taking a break due work & family. Started again with FSX a couple of years ago, with PMDGs 737 ( I worked at ANZ eng, and Engine Centre for 30 years and it was like coming home )

With the great scenery that is around, I am now flying more GA VFR , and would like to try MP - but with a LOT of help!

Keep up the good work guys and girls

PM me as I have a hotlink current for the Christchurch Scenery, 1GB d/load and works best with ORBX tho works well with VLC.

3 months ago I had a $20 joystick. Now I have , Pro flight yoke, rudder pedals, com radio stack, 3 monitor eyefinity. Not to mention all the addons. To put a price tag to it all, probably around $1500. Pretty cheap hobby really!

Hi there,
I am an old boy (68) and do this hobby with my son by remote. I bought the saiitek pedals, radio/nav panel and yoke and throttle cluster. I have never looked. Back . I fly the careado B200 and soon to be the magic Flight 1. B200
It doesn't get more fun for me than that .
Enjoy the toys
Harold

It makes the experience a whole lot more immersive having these toys. I'm trying to talk my friend into getting a cheap joystick for FSX. he thinks a keyboard will suffice!

You are only as old as you feel I am 81 and some days I feel that I wouldn't make the over 50's and other days I feel I could make it into the 100+ club tongue.gif

Cheap joystick is first requirement for newbies winkyy.gif , Keyboard learning to start FSX is a mission in itself for the newbie ... even catch's oldbies out ... hence the upgrade to the wicked control systems we all seem to have after a few years winkyy.gif

On your return trip from the Canterbury Aero Club on Saturday, stop in at the Riccarton Racecourse with your Kamo, you may meet a few FS drivers cool.gif
