Yup, it's going well. I'm just waiting to see if there will be a bias towards the top of the list for votes. Might need a shuffle.

Yeah , maybe your right , keep it simple for Doug .... thing is , if there are 60 entries , there are 60 styles and some are very easily associated with the poster ..... blah blah .... keep it like it is, otherwise we will ruin the spirit of the comp.

No there isn't a bias towards the top the voting is pretty evenly spread from top to bottom thumbup1.gif

I'm happy with it...I did suggest that sometime in the future, the final pics could be 'drawn from a hat' and put up for judging, in that order. Not terribly practical...and if there are members who cheat, they will soon figure out a way around that rule, too.
Thanks Doug, for doing the extra work, and for your excellent management skills, so clearly demonstrated by your coming back to ask how we think it is working now. thumbup1.gif

It's just struck me idea.gif K.I.S.S. Why all this to make voting fair? It's turning into a classic case of over-engineering, let the prize sponsor decide and put your feet up Doug. I'm sure you could trust them to get past a preference for their own product.

That is something that would really liven the show up, you get people who complain about voting and people complain about editing, you get people sending messages to admin on how to run the show without putting any input or a screen in .. a never enter .. If it is in the to hard basket ya get out .... but if you enjoy it jump in the deep end ! ITs FUN !

I feel fine with the new voting method. Problem is that you can't see the closed comp thread and you can't look back at your shots and thinking the probability of winning? Well, do the M.A.T.H.S! Though I am clever in M.A.T.H.S

Why would I need to go to bed? I was just giving my own opinion about the new voting method. Was there something wrong with it? I was using that M.A.T.H.S statement as a example of reviewing your own shot.

You were telling everyone how good you thought you were which is weird - no one likes hearing someone say how good they are
