ACARS question

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Hi guys,

Just a quick question, I have a guy wanting to join our V.A. which is o.k.

But after looking at previous v.a.'s he is still flying for, it looks like he is flying multiple flights for different V.A.'s

last count is around ten V.A.'s

Is there a way that you can get around ACARS to bring up multiple flights.

It just looks very funny when you look at all his flights.

Cheers

So Stu, do you mean he's using 10 different ACARS clients all at once to simultaneously log the same flight?
Don't see that there's much you can do about it, but the simplest thing would surely just be to fire him from yours wouldn't it?

Hi Dean,

He hasn't gotten past me, so he isn't on our roster. So I cant fire him.
One of our guys is looking into his flights, he must be using between two or three at a time.

I thought that ACARS would only let you use it for the current flight and livery, so if he is using multiple how is he getting around it for the different airlines and livers etc?
