Currently the only OK jobbie out there is the Aerosoft Extended

Actually, its not the only one, there is also the Blackbox Simulations A320, now technically its a work in progress but it is maturing very quickly and although it may not have as much eye candy it will I'm sure end up being just as sophisticated. There's a healthy split of fans on both sides, check it out for yourself...

Had the 1090T @ 4.1 Gig with NB at 2800. on air, really good chip. Now have Vishera 6300 @ 4.58 and it is performing better than the 1090t I have never enjoyed FSX so much. If it wasnt for all my ai at yssy I often get 90 or more ai planes and even with that i get 16 to 20 fps., some places it has hit the 90s, but i locked it to 30, no need to go higher, Vishera chips ar emuch better thna there predecessor.
Intel 4790K 4.6Gig
8 Gig 1600 Meg ram,
Gigabyte GTX 680 2 Gig Ram
Gigabyte GAZ87X-UD3H

Just making sure peeps understand you don't have to spend a fortune to get FSX running well, tuning the system properly also helps immensely re FPS etc.

Dean is spot on. I usually join all these sorts of threads to say the same thing. I have a core 2 duo 2.14ghz, 4gb of ram on Win XP 32 bit home, and a 9800GTX 512mb and can run FSX really well for the most part (fancy payware 3d cockpits give me a bit of a tough time). But it's all about proper tuning and a nice clean PC. I have zero OOMs and CTDs too btw smile.gif
FSX shouldn't really be seen as so scary. As someone said above it's a program from 2006, most new computers should own it. Sure the V1.0 of the game is a bit hard on FPS, but that's what the patches fixed, and plenty of work has been done by the community to improve things further. I don't think anyone should be scared of giving FSX a go now days. All the best,
