Love that flying suit one, especially the guy saying about half way in .. "oh yes, its a little bit scrary at the beginning... but its fun"
Didn't enjoy the NGX one as much, just couldn't see past that ridiculous dirty camera lens effect???!?!?!

Yes I must say I kept wanting to tell the dude to give the lens a wipe!

The flying suit is an Amazing clip... see how quickly it inflates from the base jump.
Just like a French cheese... NOT.
I wonder just how dangerous it is... a rip in the suit, a little turbulence when you're flying down the tree-lined avenue... boy a tree can slow you down some.
Probably: exceptionally dangerous.

I see the jetman is flying around North Shore this weekend, didn't go to the show for various reasons.
He keeps up handily with a DC-3.
Probably also exceptionally dangerous.

The wingsuit one is very good. Something I'd like to do, but doubt it will ever happen. The camera angles on the 737 vid were good, but I too found that over-use of the "scratched imperfect camera lens" to be annoying. The actual air traffic & pilot chatter was a nice touch, but it would've been better to put in an actual 737 engine noise at least for take off and ascent. It's a real shame that actual "in game" engine noise is usually so awful. sad.gif

I'm surprised your all being so tough on that NG video, but you are probably right. Would have been nice to see the video without the lens scratching.
I guess add to that, I don't have the NGX, nor any Orbx, so I perhaps found it more impressive due to that fact. One day I might be able to buy a new PC lol

Glad you are liking the flying suits. I'm just amazed by it. Especially those runs down below the tree tops. Scary really. I'm glad to be just hanging on via a movie camera rather than the real thing. But I bet it's a real thrill.

That NGX video would have been great, but all through it I found myself looking at the dirty lens and wishing that it could be cleaned. Not sure what sort of effect they were trying to capture, but for me, it ruined the whole video. Behind the scratches, the video was good, but spoilt by the dirty lens and the scratches.

But the wingsuit video, WOW. Must look to see if I have some baggy trousers anywhere.

smooth landings.
