ai aircraft

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby spongebob206 » Sun May 13, 2012 8:52 am

Morning

Have completed my install of all saved ai packages.

Two problems. I have no NZ beeches flying around and my airports are really bare.

what have i not istalled? Have Redux, orbbx ftx ai. Before killing the other pc my airports were full.

Used to have woai but cannot find the installer. Could this be it?

Also all th ai have the props as disks. I remember a fix but cant seem to find it.

Thanks

Ah yes, the old missing AI problem. Whats most likely happened is there is an FS9 flightplan in your FSX install and often these will block display of AI traffic. What you need to do is convert all your FS9 flightplans to the FSX format, check out the AIFP (AI-flight-plan) tool following, makes it a breeze....
http://stuff4fs.com/open.asp?Folder=AIFP&JS=TRUE

I use WOAI as well, you need to make sure each time you install a new AI pack that you re-run AIFP just to make sure its converted over. Good luck mate

Hi All

Investigation so far...

FTX and Glaps working, just not voz.

Something I have noticed is WN INt is showing as NZ31 in my log book. Could this be it? If so how do I correct?

Cheers

Mmmm... maybe an AFCAD has been overwritten, or is missing, ie the parking codes not set that are needed. Did you reinstall VOZ from their download or from your old install, perhaps you missed the AFCADS?
Also, have you got the traffic slider set to 100%, or something else thats pretty high?

Wicked... AI is SO MUCH FUN huh.
Very addictive though, I'd say I spend an hour a week at least adding new custom AI packs, great to see them coming to life though huh
