A little late (belated?)?

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby Olderndirt » Wed May 09, 2012 12:50 pm

In the several months I've been participating in the monthly screenshot contest, I need to say - this month's winner was a complete standout. A lot of work involved and just nicely done. Were I that NZAir captain, I'd be running the 'missed approach checklist'. Suffice to say, a beautiful shot and is there a HR version available?

Thanks for the comments Dave to be honest there wasn't to much work involved it was just a matter of taking the shot splitting it adding the lightning effects then joining it up again, but I must admit it did come out far better than I expected it to. laugh.gif

I used to try and catch the lightning too but never could but with the effects thing the lightning covers the whole pic that's the reason I had to split it in half and add the lightning effects to the half without the aircraft then join it up again icon_redface.gif now I am giving away all my secret idea.gif laugh.gif

I'm having a bit of a problem. I hate choppers and I've used the CS Herc about 3 times in a row (unsuccessfully, I might add laugh.gif). May have to be the dreaded Catalina ...

Leave the engines at 35+ hg manifold pressure for a while and you'll have a MAYDAY situation on your hands.

*No chance*!!! Next show at Ardmore (D-Day) I'm taking my shoulder launched SAM's with me (cunningly disguised as Warbirds poster tubes). If one of those nasty little egg-beaters even dares to start his engines, it'll be for the last time laugh.gif.
