Merry Xmas and an Invitation

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby TonyM » Wed Dec 21, 2011 1:13 am

Gentlemen,

From all the simmers " over the ditch " and in particular those in the
OZX community, may we wish you all a very happy Xmas.

As an expat kiwi, I would like to send special greetings to those in the CHC area
that have had such a difficult time.

On the Flt Sim world, we are all looking forward to some awesome Multiplayer sessions in NZ
now that ORBX has released NZSI.

I know that most of you will have VLC, but for those of us in OZ that had many years of
excellent simming using the ORBX stuff, we are thrilled that its been released.

So to those of you that have the scenery, we extend a warm welcome to any OZX Flying
Club sessions that you see pop up on Gamespy.

They are usuallly on Fridays at 0930Z.

Any help from "locals" will be appreciated.

Just check in to the OZX website and PM me( TonyM) for the password.

Cheers

Ian,

My first few flights exploring have been in Carenados excellent
Cessna 185.

The one with skis, in Mt Cook Skiplane colours, how cool is that.

My aircraft of choice is going to be the tiger or Technam for local
sightseeing, the C185 for mountain work, and the carenado baron for longer hauls.

Oh yeah, not to forget the C185 amphibian for lake and river stuff.

I am a present exploring the coast around Kaikoura, looks fantastic, and even the airport
has been given a work over.

With people wandering around, having a barbie and a NZ flag flying, sheeesh, I thing I'm
gettin homesick

Cheers
