Panoramas

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby scaber » Wed Nov 23, 2011 5:59 pm

been playing around for the last few days and thought that some of you might be interested in the interactive panoramas I've been making.

1. Inside the flightdeck of the A2A B17
B17 Flightdeck

2. Outside the terminal of Robin's Nelson scenery
Real NZ Nelson

3. Inside the SimPit during the vANZ meet in Nelson
SimPit
I should point out that the photography here isn't as good as the 'real thing' - it's certainly a not to be missed experience. Check it out next time you're up in Nelson. Visit SimPit website

Ah, well that would be a trade secret!! Actually, it's the sort of photography that I do (see www.scaber.org) so just had to work out how to adapt the technique to the virtual world of FSX. I quite liked that idea of a virtual, virtual world if you know what I mean!

Absolutely... now how about an LCD "camera" panel on the dash, showing the "exterior" of the plane, while you are panning about? winkyy.gif

I have thought about an external pan around too so maybe I could combine them in some way . . . .
perhaps a split screen or something though there could be some difficulty coordinating the displays once people started clicking away with the mouse . .

rolleyes.gif - thank you. I might have to do a few more of these now that I've worked out how to do them.

Once you add the A2A Accusim B-17, it really adds to the Fortress , a 350MB download really is worth it . cool.gif

Just for you Adam, here is a link to a 360x180 degree VR panorama of the MkIIb A2A Spitfire over RealNZ Nelson. Probably a little frowned upon to be over this part of the city at this height . . .
