Sounds interesting, the intro to the article says it all .. .. . .

I logged in to post about this, and find I am a half day behind the times!
I am puzzled by the odd number (13) of projectors used.
Think about it, a sphere is symmetrical... an extra one overhead for more sky brightness?
3.4m plus projection distance; have to extend the garden shed a tad, perhaps, but it would be nice.

It would be an interesting toy to play with , not surprised the Israeli Air Force being the first to buy and the system should be fully operational in 2012 bet that could be pushed due the regions woes gos and let have another go's .

No thanks. Flightsimming is for relaxation. Too much stress with a 360 deg vision.
