I finally cleaned up these repaints, and took these two for a beatup of the countryside near Palmy.
I was amazed again, at how small these planes were, especially sitting on the ground.
And how truly different they look...

Matey , Fighters , from the era , I would have thought the Mk22/24 Spits and the huge Fury's off the period were more technical than a Vampire , in Wigram you have the oppitunity to sit in a two seat cockpit , as you enter the museum one of these single seat hang directly in front of you , to the right the 2 seat cockpit .

Nice Screen Charl . smile.gif

Haven't been there for years...funny thing, we were headed to Christchurch 10 days ago, but other stuff happened.
I was planning a visit to Wigram - hope it's not broken - definitely would like a look at the Vampire.

Just fingers crossed , this side off the city it rocked heavy but its the eastern side hit real bad , i cant compare it to 6 months back , this was an awake experience , logic makes you think we got off lightly , lost so much in the central area , i only hope my choice spot survived .

OK that is very good to hear Marty, hope you're able to finish your cleanup quickly and restart a semblance of normal life.
