Thanks Kag,

Was right in front of me too!

That's done now, thanks for your help, now finishing the Human Factors..annoying even when I got 85% I've got 8 KDRs to do and they have to be the most annoying complicated ones out of the whole syllabus lol

Owell good time killer!!

I thought I would share this... I know it's no biggie for some of you guys, but it's HUGE for me as this was the first REAL step towards my PPL .

I PASSED THE TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE EXAM! clapping.gif

I didn't have the time/money for a course so i learned it from the book, and I have to say it was kind of hard to memorize all those technical english words. To understand the logic behind engines and aerodynamic was the easier part. I think the next hardest will be air law for me, again, because of the language. I'll see soon smile.gif

Smooth landings guys

Sweet Mate!! Congrats!!
Yea Air Tech has always been my hardest subject to study and understand, guess im not too good with the technical side of engines and gyros haha

Air Law isn't too bad, though if you arn't very good at english it's hard, most of the ASL exams these days are bloody english tests!!

Good Luck for Law and well done, one less to go now!

Well done gojo, good effort.

Hi guys - when does one get given a CAA Client ID? I'm about to get my medical and there's a space for CAA Client ID on the form.
I have an ASL Client ID as I recently passed Air Navigation and Flight Planning (YAY!) (just tongue.gif) and I'm wondering if that means I'll have a CAA Client ID too or won't have one until I do something else like get my medical???

If you have never had a medical before, you wont have a CAA number yet. So leave that blank, and CAA will issue you with one. And that number will appear on your medical if you need to remember it.

Hello Guys and Girls,

I was browsing through the Internet and came across this website and after reading a few topics on this forum I decided to join the forum and make new friends. I am presently learning to fly in Auckland and working towards my PPL. I am presently training in a Piper Tomahawk PA-38. I also work in the Aviation Industry. I always welcome any advise or help so i can pass my PPL.

I have bought FLIGHT SIMULATOR X as well and I usually play on the weekends. I am still on the training stages on the sim too lol... but am sure i will be pro on the sim in the comming months.

Take care

Haha cheers guys. Nope ESD is dead and ESC has a big check coming up in about 10 hours flight time that Roger's not going to bother with I don't think, so he won't be around for long.

Just thought I'd add my embarkation on the path to getting my PPL to this thread. I've logged a grand total of 1.1hrs so far in ZK-DNY.

Hey guys and girls ,

Which headset do you prefer out of the following two?

1. AvComm AC-200 PNR

2. AvComm AC-900 PNR

I am looking at getting one of them and wondering which is the best out of the two.

thanks in advance for your suggestions and advice.

I know I will! Incidentally, I'd always wanted to learn how to fly, but watching Bruce fly Ed Force One in Flight 666 gave me the boot up the proverbial to get on and do it smile.gif
