Just wondering if it is possible to trace the person who was sending out this spam and then report him. Sure that it is a criminal offense now to send out spam, so if we can trace him/her then it would be good to punish him/her for this. I cannot see the purpose in sending out spam and viruses like this.

I agree HT, But i think its quite a process. I had a system totally destroyed by something like this (i know better now) I did manage to get a fix on the source, but it turned out it was comeing from about 3 places and always moving (IP was hidden or false, didnt know that was possible) It really annoys me.....but i wont start coz i got bit carried away last night and "lightning fingers" Robin had to.....shoot me .....but i agree with you.
