Hi my names Nicholas,

I live at Brisbane QLD, Ive been interested in aviation for 4 years. I introduced my self to MFSX in 2006 had to change to fs2004 due to old computer 3 years after 2006. I also like bushwalking not much places to do that and thats about it though always go out to local airport to watch planes and attend most aviation events.

Hi There, I'm Brendan Agnew, a High School student from Howick. As of this writing, I'm 14, and in Year 10 and Sancta Maria College, a New Co-ed Catholic School in Botany South/Flat Bush. I'm an avid musician, playing Piano, Organ, Guitar, Bass, Trumpet, Tenor Horn, Baritone Horn, Double Bass, Percussion and occasionally Mandolin. I play first trumpet in the school's Jazz and Concert Bands, and double bass in the String Orchestra. I'm currently in rehearsals for the Pukekohe Light Opera Club's production of Stephen Sondheim's "A Little Night Music" (In which I shall be one of 2 brass players playing 6 parts between us, along with 10 more people, making a total of 23 parts!), which is running in Pukekohe from the 29th of August through until the 12th of September. If you're in the area and want to see the show, send me a PM and I'll get you a contact number for tickets! I'm planning on beginning study towards a PPL some point next year, at Ardmore, where my Cousin gained his PPL a few months ago. I used to play FSX, before my computer decided it didn't want it to work, so I've installed it on another Computer, which now refuses to acknowledge the fact that I've installed MSXML4SP2, and subsequently will not let me play. I am annoyed, to say the least (Yes, I know that to say the least would be to do this: " ", but I'm not pedantic like that, am I?), and if anyone has any tips for fixing this, please let me know! I'm starting to suffer from FS Withdrawal!

Yeah, so that's me, pretty much.

Don't think I ever got round to posting here...

I'm Tom and now live in Nelson. I am pursuing my PPL and am about to go solo within the next few weeks. I have been on and off NZFF over the past couple years.

Sadly my computer doesn't like FSX either... sad.gif

Hi Guys The names Blakiston. Nick Blakiston.

I was born In Timaru Home of the Mighty Phar Lap back on the 29th Of August 1995. I then moved to Blenheim in 1997 and have been here ever since. I live up the top of Brookby Road and there is a Tiger Moth on the other side of the road the takes off and zooms over about 20ft above the house. Jealous much? laugh.gif I have 2 Little Bro's 6 and 8, and a *very* annoying little Sister 11. I am 13.

I have been part of NZFF since November '07 when I was looking for an RNZAF Skyhawk repaint biggrin.gifMy first post 4th down
Like all of us I found everybody here I found the community here really friendly and helpful, (Although I never got that skyhawk repaint laugh.gif) and I decided to stay.
I first dove into the world of Flight Sim with Flight Simulator 2004 A Century of Flight in about 2006 with an HP Pavilion T640a.
Since then I have had CFS 2, CFS 3, IL2 Sturmovik, IL2 1946 (really REALLY awesome!!) and FSX, All with my trusty old brick with wires the Pavilion If your really interested with specs search "Specifications of a brick" in google and see what comes up. If you are upgrading and have any parts to "get rid of" PM me And I might be able to help smile.gif.

I really only do one sport and that is
Cycling!!
I am an active cyclist doing club races on Saturdays(Here if your interested) And are about to represent Marlborough at the national secondary schools road cycling champs in Levin at the end of September. If you see my racing around in my red and yellow Marlborough top give me a wave! My numbers are 8 or 22.

Thats pretty much me If you have any Questions just ask here and I will gladly answer them.

Cheers,
Nick

Hi Guys,

Well not exactly a new member, but more an old and wrinkly one reporting back in after a VERY busy time with far too many beta tests behind me and not enough simming. Those who remember me will remember my foible for painting planes, well I still am. All my FS9 repaints are still on Avsim, but I have finally cleaned up my own homepage and if you ever want any of the FSX repaints I have painted, then drop by and see what I have got on the site - the banner in my sig is clickable if the bosses here have no objections.

By way of re-introduction, take a look at the brand new Christen Eagle that Iris Simulations has released. Great plane David!

OK, so my first few new EagleSkins are contemporary, but this plane is a blast to fly! Have a taste of a few of my recent skins for this bird and stand by to see more over the coming weeks and months...

...Wot? I have done that many already? blink.gif If you want any, drop by my re-vamped homepage and help yourselves.

Hi.
I'm Markus and I'm a sim addict.
To be more precise: I'm addicted to tweaking! laugh.gif

Being a flightsimmer from the early days of FS2000 on, I started to release my repaints about a year ago.
Just do a flightsim.com search for "Hellwig" to see what I've done since then.

For efficiency reasons, I concentrated on canadian-based repaints (having all the RGB values, fonts and maple leaves on stock makes repainting much easier!), but having enough of a hard winter outside, I felt the need to hop to some more pleasant flying conditions...

In real life occupations, I don't have too close affiliation to aviation stuff:
I'm a 43 years old civil registration officer at Berlin, Germany.
Once this annoying winter is over, I'll return to my major leisure time occupation, a railroad museum ( http://mkb-berlin.de ).
Can't wait to put my engineer overall on and crank up my Diesel shunter! http://mkb-berlin.de/details/mkb_01.htm

Until then, I continue pushing pixels...

Cheers,
Markus.

Hey guys (and girls?),
I'm Paul, and i'm down here in WGTN.
I've just got back into flightsims today, after purchasing a new joystick. I have two beautiful logitech wingmans and no possible way of attaching them to my laptop, so off it was to get myself a Logitech Extreme 3D pro.

I used to play both Airwarrior 2 (an awesome game for such an old title!) and FS98, but unfortunately my copy of FS98 has decided not to work anymore. So now i rock the demo version of FSX (according to the box the full version wont run on my laptop, might buy it and see anyway tho winkyy.gif), and a bargain-bin copy of CFS3.

I'm a 19yr old pizza delivery boy by trade, and waiting to hear back from the Airforce as to wether they want me as an Aircraft Technician. I also race/tinker with/break cars in my spare time.

So yeah. Thats me tongue.gif

Gidday,

My name's Kelvin and I have been abstinent from flight simming, never, and I am always relapsing. I am an Auckland born New Zealander and have somewhere in the vicinity of 60-70 hours real world flying. love flight simming, love real world flying, love I.T, and love my partner; four great things in my life. I have a great setup for simming on my Core I7 machine and I'm quite the fan of multiplay as well. So, if you need to find me i'll be over at teamspeak with the others.

Cheers,

Kelvin

Hello people smile.gif
Another Chris here! Seems to be an outbreak of us lol

Originally from Canada but moved here to NZ about 10 years ago. Living up near Whangarei with my wife and 6 year old son. Spent most of my life building houses then moved into solid wood furniture and bench tops but have recently been hired on by Dept of Corrections (NZ).
Have some experience in flying C-172's but that was years ago. Played some combat flight sims way back when (hmm, 20 years ago or there abouts). Loving FSX though, have tons to figure out about flying but really seems to be interesting me so I think I am going to stick with it for some time.

Now if only they would incorporate a fishing simulator to work within FSX then I would never have to leave my PC ..... thumbup1.gif
