BF109 V1 Roll Royce Kestral at 695 HP , makes ya head scratch what the British were thinking , another speedy mail-plane or Hermans private transport .. we are only going to make one them tongue.gif

...and then, with extreme presence of mind, he assumed the streamlined freefall position, dived after the plane, and caught it by the tail at the bottom of the dive!
Then, hand over hand up the fuselage, into the back seat, before the pilot could figure out why his plane felt a little light... laugh.gif

The man responsible for importing most of the Australasian fleet of Nanchang CJ-6's, died this year.
How?
Who was he?
How many Nanchangs are there in OZ and NZ, give or take a handful?

Nah...this gent was killed in a Nanchang crash near Moruya airport NSW earlier in the year.
Way to go, doing what you love to do...

Hi name was Graeme Camage - he was performing aerobatics when he lost control and crashed on a beach near Moruya. He was a member of The Australian Warbirds Association and was an importer of the Nanchangs.

There are approx 33 Nanchangs in Aussie and 5 in NZ.

Yes I agree considering the amount of pics you see of them etc - but thats what an Aussie mag I have states that has a list of warbirds in Austraila and NZ. I also double checked it on the CAA website.
