Tauranga NZFF Meet @ Classic Flyers Museum

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby Anthony » Fri Jul 04, 2008 8:06 pm

Yes a summer meet up would be great - the weather is nicer and more people are likely to be able to make it.

March is airshow time of year, Classic Flyers at Omaka and maybe a RNZAF show.
This could be tied in for a meet up.

Hey Guys,

If anyone wants to go in the 737 sim I have managed to get a cheaper rate.
This is $45 per person for about 15 minutes. This includes a Take off, Circuit and Landing.
Andrew are you able to put this on the poster?
If you want to book PM me because I need a few people before I can book it.

How likely is that do go ahead by the way? I hear the weather for the weekend doesn't look too promising sad.gif

There looks to be a massive front heading over on Friday/Saturday (damn it....no flying for me AGAIN) but clearing saturday night/sunday morning.
We will have to wait and see but I reckon it could be OK

Yeah... looks like that front is not moving as fast as I had hoped... might be a close call... I will make a decision Sat night if possible as to whether or not we'll fly... but will leave it until Sun morning

fingers crossed... I need the hours smile.gif

got some night flying last night... chilly, but smooth

BUMP - Dont forget this Sunday @ The Classic Flyers Museum.

Should be a good day with the Flight Experience 737 sim around the corner and plenty of aircraft to gawk at including 2 Hunters, L-29, Airtrainer, Sabre, Heron, Harvard etc.

Food and drinks are availabe at the cafe on site.

I will get there early - if anybody wants me to do anything etc on site or before hand let me know via this thread or PM.
