What about an ANZ paint for the Dreamwings Q400? I know ANZ only have the 300, but the 400 was on the cards somewhere, would be nice to have one flying around Virtual NZ. Just realised I forgot, wouldn't Posky's CRJ 200 look great in ANZ colours?

Good day all,

I'm looking for some NZ (zk-XXX) repaints what I couldn't find yet:

Carenado Mooney Bravo
Justflight Flying Club Piper Tomahawk

Any ideas? Cheers!

Don't know of any for either. I would also like a NZ repaint for the Carenado Mooney 201 (its a 201 not a Bravo). I would also like to see a NZ repaint for the Eaglesoft Twin Comanche. This should really be in the NZ repaint request thread.

I did a fairly representative paint of VVB at some point - PM me an email add. that can handle 4MB if interested.

Seeing that we have been on the warbird theme lately I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a repaint for the Aussie warbird VH-HET avaliable anywhere? The closest good model would be the WOP Spitfire MkIa which closely resembles the VIII.

I'm getting some restored warbird paints from all over the world together for my Wanaka leg of the Kiwi tour in which i will do a WW2 "Airshow".

VH-HET is such a gorgeous aircraft...

Pics of her are here:

A.net pics of VH-HET

I've tried to get something going in FS Repaint but it's just not doing it any justice.

Cheers

Some Kiwi repaints would be nice for the the BSK Mosquito at Sim-Outhouse.

One that quickly springs to mind is the simple scheme of MoTaT's NZ2305. This is very similar to the other RNZAF Mosquitos, as can be seen at ADF-Serials NZ section. The scheme is veeeeeeeery simple - silver overall with roundels, codes and serial. I think we can play around with spinner colours ;) .

Any takers? It looks to be a pretty easy scheme.

NOTE I would post pics but Photobucket's down. I'll try again tomorrow!

So is anyone keen? Anyone? I've run out of patience with repaints, especially when they involve such a large area being a single colour *blushes at own inadequacy*

Anyone looking at doing a repaint of Alan Devins' Augusta 109 in RNZAF livery (this is the replacement LUH/T for the Sioux)? The model works in both FS9 and FSX and comes with a complete repaint kit with bmp, psd and psp files (alas I don't have any decent paint software like Photoshop). The model can be found at Hovercontrol, it's called Gmax_Augusta_109.zip.

I'd be tempted if there was an official paint scheme out there - is there one?

The one I mentioned in my previous post - Alan Devins' A109 package. I decided to have a crack myself using a freeware paint program - still got a lot to learn but it's a start. There's no official scheme yet, so I kind of just modeled off the NH90 and took some liberties. Unfortunately the helicopter model has swinging main doors rather than sliding, and I'd imagine the RNZAF ones will be sliding doors to allow for rapid deployment of ninjas. I'll probably chuck the repaint up on avsim or something later for others to have a play with.

Good question - I believe she's in the restoration hangar, so not part of the main "display" area but still accessible. Call ahead in advance to find out the best day to visit, I think it may be Wednesdays. I went on a Sunday and there was a solitary guy in the restoration hangar who said "yeah take a look around". Theres a certain day where the volunteers are there in force and the public's allowed into the resto area, but I don't know which day it is.

BTW I was last there in 2005, and remember standing in her bomb-bay looking into the cockpit. First Mossie I ever saw in the flesh smile.gif and I can say I've been in one tongue.gif.
