A full day of airline traffic

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

I installed the latest update of the superb FreeZ Zurich scenery, and let the sim run minimised all day.
Every so often I would look to see what the AI was up to.
It certainly looks busy, most of the time.
There never was an actual conflict, which was pretty remarkable, given there are two non-parallel runways, plus a crossing runway, all in use for take-offs and landings!

...some go-arounds, though...

Some more screenshots of the scenery here

Good AI. Better than default FS9 traffic.

I'll say...
What I did find almost as interesting was the way the light changed throughout the day.
You could really see it afterward, in the screenshots I popped at various times.
This must be one of Microsoft's best achievements, the actual quality of the light changes in the sim.
(Remember this is FS9)
