A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby ScottyB » Tue Apr 15, 2008 6:47 pm

Hi everyone,

I am thinking of creating a virtual FS business. I will base a fleet of aircraft and helicopters in Te Anau. I will basically fly people/goods into Fiordland National Park. This will include ferrying hunters, fisherman, goods to fishing vessels, DOC workers and the flightseeing. Charges are as follows:

Charges:

Flightseeing - $110 Te Anau scenic (1/2 hour)
- $150 Doubtful Sound (return)
- $180 Lake Te Anau Fiords
- $200 Doubtuful sound exploration
- $200 Milford " "
- $250 Milford and Doubtful round trip

Charters - 2 hours $600
- 4 hours $1000
- 6 hours $1500
- Day (12 hours) $3600
- + extra hour $400

Aircraft

1 Hughes 500d
1 Hughes 500e
1 Cessna 172
1 Maule Ski Plane
1 Maule Float Plane
1 Maule Bush Plane

NOW, DOES ANY BODY WANT TO PAINT THE AIRCRAFT FOR ME? I WILL TELL YOU DETAILS IF U WANT TO?

Thanks.

That's really serendipitious ... currently I'm working on an FSDS model of the Te Anau floatplane FBO (specifications provided courtesy of Allan Remnant of Wings & Water, Te Anau.

Whats with the prcies Scotty? Just for fun or do you use FS Passengers?

Many moons ago I had a simular idea to make a virtual flying club based out of Te Anau, but nothing ever came of it. Great location though, and lucky Dorian stumbled across this post for you too!
