Our Addiction of our Hobby

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Hey there fellow simmer's

Thought i'd start a topic here and just have a rant about the hobby of flight simming. I was pondering the whole idea tonight and isn't it funny with this amazing hobby of ours is so good at making us buy MORE!!! i just love it, to be exclusive then is to have the more toys. I remember as a kid going to visit my uncle and he had this sweet as room dedicated to his model train hobby, i thought how cool but as i grew up i thought it was kinda weird at his age having that for everybody to see. But now the tides have turned and for the good 7 years now my hobby has become a secret addiction. starting from a kid with the moddest msfs on windows95 now to my super machiene that hides my sweet sweet addiction  , i know i have gone on for a we bit now but does anyone share my same experience? i have just purchased the flytampa KSFO and the AES credit pack, man oh man thats one of the coolest addon's i have ever invested in.

So feel free guys to drop your oppinion's and share your own storys.

Cheers Boys & Girls

Well, if I had a big enough spare room, I'd still love to install a decent model railway in there... AND a full size sim cockpit (the one Ian showcased in another thread would suit just fine. headed for Oz? It might just be going the long way....... )
