When there is fog (or low visibility below a certain point) FS9 doesn't draw this up very well when you are looking down at it from above. E.g. you can see a small sheet of cloud but it is see-through allowing you to look at all the details below.
For example, I was at VHHH and I took off. The weather was normal, around 5 mile visibility (due to smog/fog) anyway so it looks like fog/smog where I was (in it) until I climbed above it (1000ft) at which point there is just a light white sheet showing the top of the clouds but unfortunately it is see-through. Thus I can see Hong Kong Chep Lap Kok Airport but no one there can see me. Is there any way to solve this?
