$100 NZ Scenery, What would you recommend?

As you know arnz moved on aswell as others and made there own fsx based website ,FSX only ,this started the split around fsx and fs9 in the forums .

Exactly, there is very little I can do to change things. And why would we try and go to extremes when we already have a winning formula here?

I suppose I just want people to be able to post without replies making fun of their setups, or the simulator they've spent so long improving and working on. Put yourself in their shoes, I think that having the FSX that you've added to, and modded, and worked on being continually slammed back in your face time after time would make some people a bit disheartened.

Yup this is true and i know ive been one of these people pointing out its faults and cons ,this im changing due to the response i get from others ,slamed by pm or otherwise .
but holding back the way i feel about something isnt something i do ,nor is it something FSX users do , we voice those opinions aloud to bring problems or good things we have into the light ,discuss them to achive a better understanding of the topic .. we all learn something then

ive fallen many times in peoples opinions be callen many things because i voice a different opinion than others ,this doesnt stop me posting ,scared and not wanting to say anything just incase i mite upset anyone .
No i listen and come to my own opinions and get on with it ,this fsx and fs9 thing was over weeks ago for me ,with the descussion about fsx with robin and many others ..
i listened, thought yeah you have a point there and left it that ,

If i had a hunderd dollars to spend for Xmas ,i would have to say id get, at the "moment " realnz cd special $75 / a old copy of fs9 and landclass ,thats is a good deal and you get the best of both worlds ,with free patches and all the freeware out there ,thats a pretty good buy for 100$
you can still use the scenery in fsx with acouple of problems ,none that are that bad ,or can also run the free patches for fsx

you could just go out and buy FSX Acceleration and get a jet /helicopter /ship and all the other stuff ,and then go of to the simmarket and get a new cessna the goes over 100

Last night i hung out with a couple of fs9'ers, i was on fsx. Come together brothers, aren't we all in this because we love flight.

Religious vs Atheist

'Each to their own' is the only quotation that i have ever followed. I certainly wont be moving to another forum. I have met some wonderful people here and hope we can all get along in our own colourful community. As an fsx'er i have never felt the fs9'ers to be different to me, maybe their opinion is supported by fact. Their are a hell of alot more choices available to them than an fsx'er like me.
Good on them for standing against the man 'Bill gates' in this case, and staying with the wheel and not the re-invention of it.

Maybe young fs9'ers can understand what its like for older people when our stuff becomes 'uncool' . It's not 'uncool' it's the same thing 'modified' into a different package, but in the end it's all the same. Abba is Banarama is Spice girls is ........
