Flight Planner

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby dazza28 » Fri Oct 26, 2007 10:00 pm

Hey all i don't know if this is a dumb question but I'm going to ask.

How realistic are the flight routes in fs2004 for new Zealand ?

Like how close are they to the real flight routes that air new Zealand fly?

If not is there anyway i can get some info on the real routes they fly?

Any help would be great.

Cheers Dazza.

I'm not entirely sure how accurate the routes that are generated in FS are, because I don't use them.

The best source for the real world routes is at the AIP website.
Just go to the section of aerodrome charts, choose the airport you are going to fly from, and find the chart that pertains to 'Standard Route Clearances.' This is generally the real world route smile.gif
