First question- what is the point of this poll?

Second question- why do you hav an obsession with starting polls?

Thirdly... so this isn't a wasted post, Avsim. I like thier layout better, although both sites could do with a revamp.

In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.

Although I tend to live over at Avsim, I have visited Flightsim this week, but only because I wanted to download the Jasta Fokkers.

I too have completely missed the relevance in this poll idea and further to that I still don't understand what the fascination is with these guys starting up useless polls that simply waste space on the forums not having a go but I am starting to miss the whole "No Polls" but then that just ruins it for everyone else who actually starts a poll with the intention of it having a general purpose to us forum members.

So when one of you figure it out please tell me I really wanna know.

Back in the day it was flightsim, but these days its the simmarket and a little bit of avsim and hovercontrol, actully i hardly go to any other sites than nzff ,unless redirected to them from here ...
if i was not into payware id be trolling them all ,there are just so many more than flightsim and avsim ,and i find both a hassle to upload to they ask so much to upload your free stuff to ,even when you think youve done enough they send you a email saying you miss something like a readme ..when there is clearly a text doc called readme!!
so i dont upload my work to any of them anymore, because im not going to upload 7mb twice or more when they could just change one word in a text doco ...
so if anyone wants my scenerys they just have to find them here on nzff apart from the ones that have made it through to avsim high secure freeware network dry.gif
i dont have any problem with polls with meaning ,and i have to say i cant remember this one being done before ...more options and thoughts into them would be better for all

On my last upload I had the name "wrong" so they changed it to the "right" one. Didn't notice a change tbh. Just want to be a nuisance.

dry.gif I don't see any problems in this poll in fact I think it's a pretty good poll myself...

whichever has the file or article i want to read, they tend to cover different ground.

flightsim.com has my preference for having a search that works.

If I'm not looking for a particular aircraft, Flightsim, because you can just type 'all' and you'll get everything, otherwise both.
I also prefer flightsim because with a 'DownThemAll' Firefox addon i can get around 400 kb/s with Flightsim, but maybe only 50kb/s on avsim.

Flightsim.com was the first FS download site I used. But then I found AVSIM, and since then it has been AVSIM 98 % of the sime. Only when flightsim.com has a repaint or scenery that AVSIM does not have I uses flightsim.com.

I remember being a little surprised when the GNZLAP50 file arrived at flightsim.com, unannounced.
Like many others, I didn't upload it there.
But it has provided an insurance policy - AVSIM have lost the file, after around 1,100 downloads.
Their response when asked about it was: "Upload it again".
It's actually a bit of a pain to upload things to them and is also fairly bulky at around 60MB.
I don't think I even have the original GNZLAP50.zip file any more, so the only current copy is the one at flightsim!
AVSIM has been top of the heap for so long, that perhaps the only way forward, is unfortunately, down.

Didn't vote - Flightsim lets you look in the file without opening another window but Avsim downloads are faster.
