Here's a few pics I took last night flying round australia in the Avro Lancastrian, most have been edited rather heavily.

Recent freeware Ian, get it here. It's a lancastrian not a lancaster, the differences are explained at the above link.

See y'all :plane:

Arr yeah , no the model :) .. lookin at the payware , AH lanc basicilly same plane as your Lancastrian ( a bomber with guts ripped out for Imperial and redevolping new routes after WW2 , the lesser being the YORK ), think the VC sold me compared to the other :)

Yeah I had a quick look at the payware model..not for me though :) Nelson is seriously fogged in, no aeroplanes could come in to take us to Auckland, all were diverting to Woodbourne :( So we leave tomorrow night at 6:30. Ah well, more time to fly this Lanc! :ph43r:

Turns out we're leaving tomorrow morning if the weather's good B-)

Some more edited Lanc shots. Inboard starboard engine had to be feathered so I headed into Temora in southern NSW. All went well as you'll see. I really like this aircraft's panel as well - the vis isn't good over it but it's easy to find the systems you need

Nice Shots!

Can we expect lots of photos of your trip? Or flights, at least?

Great editing- some of your shots look just like oil paintings!

The nose on the model makes it look very sleek :P
