OK.. So I'm an idiot.. I went out and bought the Flytampa Vienna And Aerosoft Mega Airport Frankfurt.. I wanted some good European hubs to use and I thought these two looked the best. So I did the return trip of last week, this time upgrading to an A340-600 of Lufthansa (model also by Overland).

So, without further ado, here's the shots:

Pity the weather was a bit off...

Well it was a heap of fun anyway.. And I think I've got the hang of this ILS thing..

Nice shots/scenery - you must have a good sim budget to play with :)

Good investment VAC- I've heard many raving reviews about the Frankfurt package. I hope you enjoy it, and I look forward to seeing some more shots from there ;)

The sceneries good but that buying isn't a bit too impulsive is it?
It takes me about 3days to decide weather to buy something or not.

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

Yea I did a bit of research, had a look at reviews on the net and also I have a copy of PC Pilot that gave Vienna a fantastic review. So no, I didn't think it was all that impulsive :D

I have an awful lot of A340's somehow - Aerodesigns, CLS, POSKY, and was wondering how the Overland version stacks up.
It looks pretty good from the screenshots, how about interior, VC, FDE?

Well at least you have the courage. I usually get weighed down by the negatives but I did sort of impulsively buy the PMDG 737 NG today.
P.S. how long does it take to ship a boxed product to NZ from Sim Market?

The Overland models are supposed to be great for the simmer like me, that just gets in and flies. I don't think the FDE works. They're nice and simple, I think there's everything but a FDE. But the VC on all their models are great. Good panel too.

So to sum it up: Probably not for the real A340 pilot, but simple enough for inexperienced wannabe sim-pilots to fly
