Thought I'd share a couple of pics of a scenery I'm currently working on.
Based in the Alps down the West Coast.

I can already see a certain person wanting to land the heavy iron in here :P

Nice one, is this based on any real research operation bases?

The type of research (Thar animal survey) and the location is based on fact but the base is purely fictional.

The Dept of Twig and Tweet would have a mental if one of these was built in a National Park. :D

I hope to submit it for a Friday night FS9 Mission soon. I'm about to start putting a VERY short ridge top strip together.

"Generator" is a bit rich - it's two men on bicycles that have been wired up! If you go around, you may not have lights at all on the second approach!

Nice little scenery though. :) FSX?

Thanks guys. It's been interesting learning the different things required.

This one is part of an FS9 Mission. It is the main station and comes with 4 outposts (all with airstrips). Each has it's challenges. One in a tight valley, one on a ridgetop etc.
This one is located at S43*34.64' , E170* 02.12'
It's the only one with lighting - just so I could play with this feature of AFCAD.

I finished the flattens yesterday. Hope to bundle it all up today.

I used Rob Finneys EZ Arctic Set and Ron's EZ effects libraries for the actual objects so these will be required if you want the whole thing. The flatten's, AFCAD's and scenery placement has been done by me.

Fingers crossed the link for download will be posted in the Multiplayer forum either for this weeks session or for the following week. Depending on how my testing goes.
