I use ATI tray tools. It's a graphics card program where you can set a button and a folder for your screenshots to go in. They are saved as high-quality Jpegs. Its the only program I've found that can take good quality Jpegs.

Go here to get it

Does it need an ATI card to run it?

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, I use Grab Click Save

I also use the special 'V' key program in FSX.......its realllllllllllly hard to learn all the 'ins and outs' of this tool but its worth it ;)

(if you you didnt note the sarcasm in that post, FSX has the 'v' key mapped to take a screen grab which gets saved as a bitmap/.bmp in your My Documents/My Pictures folder....easy as pie)

I use a program called YAFSScreen - saves it into a predefined folder as a picture file (can be saved as .bmp, .jpg, .png etc) when you push the 'PrtScn' button. ;)

Did I not ask this question several mounths ago? :P

Alister reccomeded fsscreen to me, I use it all the time now, avalible from avsim. no noticable perforamce decress and jsut saves as bmps in the folder the program is running from (no install required :D ). Just uses the Print Screen key.

Then if you want to resize and change em to jpegs jsut get a resiseing tool and you shodul be able to change heaps at once, really easy.. B-)

Wisdom Soft Screenhunter 4.0 for me, as linked in the sticky at the top of this sub forums :D

Choose whatever key you wish to capture screenies, save them as .bmps or .jpegs, then edit them as you wish after each flight. I usually take about 200 per simming session :P

Snagit...

It's payware, I like it.

Any edits I do in Corel Draw X3 suite

I also use the "V" sometimes, but that saves images as BMP - and that means Biiiigggg files. Generally though, I don't screenshot first time round - unless I happen to fly past a place of interest. I tend to prefer to use the replay action and re-fly legs. That way I can try multipla angles for a particular shot

Good old fraps. It's payware, but well worth it, and i can record videos too! Beat that! And It'll save the shots to any folder i like, already as a JPEG. I don't tend to resize my pics, i just upload them to Photobucket and it resizes for me. Not sure what it does to the quality but i can't notice a change.
