Cool! But weird.. what is the point of changing it? Won't the company loose its identity and customers?

Air New Zealand operate international and domestic flights under the same name, as do many other carriers. Whats wrong with Virgin Blue International?

I see what you mean, but then again domestic 737 flights used to be run by Air NZ National. And look at Polynesian Blue...
so long as it's Virgin, it shouldn't matter. In terms of names, I like 'Big Virgin Blue' or 'Virgin Pacific' (cf Atlantic), or maybe Ozzie Virgin? Tough to pick

Hell s ... would still love to look thru Naki's colletion ... recon be super amazing thing to find info miss from years passed

Ian

You are quite welcome to come up and have a browse but I won't be getting rid of them in a hurry. Have numerous other mags including lots of car mags (Wheels, NZ Auotcar) and other aircraft mags & books.

I have a few holes in my Air International collection in the early 80's and late 70's and one from last year :( (I think Novembers - I'll get it on back order) - for some reason it never arrived in Tauranga.

My father had/has magazines going way back (1950s) including Air Pictorial (all gone now though - I saved a few), NZ Wings (back to early 70's), Aeroplane Monthly, Air Progress, Classic Flyer and others I can't thnk of right now.

Air Pictoral got taken over by another mag - can't remember what.

Cheers

Paul
