It'll be even better when those weapons work, I guess we'll have to wait for that FSX addon later this year.

OK, here's mine - a pair of Spits in a dogfight over Tekapo. How real can you get? The Schmittfire existed, by the way...

I'll hang a few more screenies up in the threads.

Thanks - I enjoyed setting that shot up. I enjoyed the actual flights even more so. Using the recorder makes it so much more fun - imagine flying a dogfight without another dog and then adding the second one after.

Charl - Schmittfire... There were at least two captured Spits that the Germans took to pieces and rebuilt with a Daimler engine and a BF109 three-blade prop.

Here's some historical info

@ Ian - yep, you're right. The Scmitty does need some TLC to fly. Freeware from Aeroplane Heaven. But I do like the RAS Spitfire with all it's background creaks and groans. Both planes are a handful though.

@ Matthew - that's Douglas Bader's Spitfire... as it might have looked if he'd flown my favourite plane ;)

Thanks for the link, Chris.
Makes you shudder, that Spitty profile with a big black swastika on the fin...
Surprising, Spit airframe + Daimler engine=unbeatable combination?
Maybe the P51 could've been even better with a German motor!
