There are a few of those over the FS World (FS9, the problem isn't in FSX afaik), next to the great big mountain you'll usually find a great big hole, like the mountain upside-down.
ive never in my entire simming life come across one of thse upside down mountains, or any massive mountains! Can someone give the coordinates of one so I can see for myself? They look interesting

Try going to KMKO, Davis Air Force Base in the USA. In the default FS9,all the runways are suspended in mid-air, with huge cave-ins underneath them. There are lots of "holes" and "spikes" in the FS9 scenery as per scon's pic. A large number of them are in the USA.
