Beautiful Boeing 733

While Airbus may be more fuel efficient and have lower running costs, they will never be able to beat Boeing in looks. IMO, the 737-300 beats the A320 hands down on the visual scale, so I decided to take the great little FFX model up for a flight around my favourite photographic hotspots for a screenie comp photo shoot, here are some of the 'finalists'

(13 pics, 1.5 mb)

I Have to agree, the 737 hands down beats the airbus on looks. Reminds me of an old saying, "If it aint Boeing, it aint going" Great screenshots of it

I also a 737 man. I love the A320 as well (don't get me wrong here) but the 737 is a sexy beast, above the a320.

Certainly is a lovely aircraft, and not just in looks, let us not forget how much better the 733 flight deck is over a 320 :P

That model and textures don't have the best detail, in comparison to the IFDG 320, yet still looks very nice.

Great screenies, I like the second one most :D

Yep, I only downloaded that FFX model after seeing Alisters screenie comp winner- very impressive stuff.

What do you mean about the repaint detail Zolt? It looks pretty good to me?

I'd fly it over the iFDG model anyday- same amount of detail, and this one is way easier on FPS. It looks real neat when you open the doors up too ;)

I also liked that FFX model, stood the test of time too.
Now it's time to go do that Queenstown flight again!

ah, i'm just a stickler. just comparing it to this: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1100249/L/
for one, the nose gear doors are white instead of grey, the grey on the underside comes too forward to the nose cone and is too high on the fuselage, the star alliance logo is too big, the Air NZ text is too dark, the registration is blue instead of black...
whoa, i really have no life. :(

Fair enough- you certainly do have an eye for detail.

While improvments could be made, I'm still very happy to have a decent ANZ 733 in my sim :P

Great screenies Trolly! You have got your sim set up nicely. Fully agree about Boeing vs Airbus. I just don't trust French government and establishment types! I'm sure the ordinary citizens are fine people who don't often approve of what their government does. The fraud and corruption already exposed at Airbus with the 380 programme and being two years behind schedule with it is a worry!
I still prefer the 747 over the 380 as well as the 737 over the 318 or 320, whatever they're called!
2 wrongs don't make a right but 2 Wrights made an aeroplane!
