Amount Of Payware Products

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby Kelburn » Sun Jan 28, 2007 12:07 pm

Just wondering about how much some of us spend on FS products,
I personally have only bought one considering the fact is that most payware products are expensive especially because of exchange rates.
(If the USD, GPB and the EUR went weaker that the NZD I'd be in heven)

For FS9 alone, i've spend something like $6000 - $7000 ( not including yokes and pedals OR add-on ACFT )

Jeez, I wish I had the money to spend on FS products. Does anyone know of any stores or websites that have fs products at low prices?

Now would be a good time to purchase as sales usually slump when a newer version of FlightSim comes out and there are some good bargins out there, though the NZ dollar really does hurt us at the moment.

No flightsim is complete until you've installed the next amazing add-on. ;)

Hehe, you have good taste HEVN, I have all of those ones above as well ;) (Forgot about the old Godzone series).

I also once had Islands of the West Indies but thought it was so crap I got a refund from Flight1, very decent of them.

I have to say the France VFR sceneries are absolutely superb - you can fly from Ajaccio (birthplace of Napoleon in Southern Corsica) all the way to Geneva with photo textures under your wings B) It's the place to fly when not flying in NZ or the UK (or India, as I am at the mo!)

All I've got is two of Robin's scenery CD's and FSNav. I'd like to get more but until I upgrade to 2004/FSX, I cant see much point at the moment.

go to alphasim website or abacuspub to get free trials or some old payware products ,and your best bet to find good deals on payware would be the simmarket.com
